Progress

 We are still working on
our little staircase gallery.

Unbelievable what a few coats of white, pale yellow, bright yellow and even some black paint can do!

As soon as all the framed prints, carvings and beach glass and stones are in place, I will post some new photos.

Don't forget to check out my 365 project - Today is day 251.

365 Project - Day 17 - 1/17/11 - Snow Rollers

Snow Rollers - 365 Project - Day 17 - 1/17/11

The snow balls are called snow rollers. For snow rollers to form, the ground must be covered by a layer of ice or packed snow. That layer of ice must then become covered by wet or loose snow with a temperature near the freezing mark. The wind must be strong enough to pick up some snow. The balls are formed as the snow is blown along the ground by wind! Snow rollers are a fairly rare meteorological phenomenon. Saulnierville, Nova Scotia.

 Mermaids Memories Beach Glass Suncatchers

Mermaids Memories Beach Glass Suncatchers are wrapped with recycled copper wire, creating a unique piece abstract art.  These suncatchers are handmade using the found treasures of Beach Glass, Fire Glass & Nova Scotia Stones found along the shores of beautiful Baie Ste Marie. Each one is different.

Moulin de Bangor - Bangor Sawmill

Moulin de Bangor - Bangor Sawmill
La Butte. Clare, NS.

The Bangor Sawmill Museum is a restored 19th-century water-powered turbine lumber sawmill on the Meteghan River. A major industry in this region's past and a reminder of the time when hundreds of such mills were seen along the many rivers of western Nova Scotia.

After the big rain washed out the dam. The level of water is low, since half the dam is gone.

La Montaigne & le Richelieu

The rivers & streams in South West Nova were running high last week, after 250 plus mm of rain in just a  few days. Another one of our bridges is closed, so there is a detour on the detour! Here are some pictures I took around Clare. Nova Scotia. Including spots like The Richelieu & La Montainge. http://www.goodnaturephotography.com
