Fall in Nova Scotia

We have had some amazing weather in Nova Scotia this fall! Warm with lots of wind!

Awesome sunset over Saint Mary's Bay.

This is Belliveau Cove Lighthouse in a Nor'easter.

A nice warm fire.

Inspirational photo - 365 Project - Day 252 - 9/9/11

I found this little situation on the beach today. If you look closely you can see that the clam actually has the bird, not the other way around! So when the big guys in life get you down remember this little clam!

Progress

We are still working on
our little staircase gallery.

Unbelievable what a few coats of white, pale yellow, bright yellow and even some black paint can do!

As soon as all the framed prints, carvings and beach glass and stones are in place, I will post some new photos.

Change is GOOD!

Time for a change! It is time for us to repaint out little staircase (soon to be) gallery!

It will take a bit of work, but I can't wait to see it when its finished!

We've taken down everything off the walls, took the old screws out and picked up all the beautiful Nova Scotia stones and the colorful beach glass. Now preping the walls and ceiling for painting, we're filling old nail holes, dents and scratches!

So fun, it will be worth it! Can't wait to get all the art up on the walls!

We will need a new light fixture or two as well to show everything just right!

Clare 4 x 4 Froggers Slalom

Clare 4 x 4 Froggers Slalom

Managed to get a few photographs
despite the flying mud and rocks!

On Sunday August 21st, 2011, I was lucky enough to get to watch some of the Clare 4 x 4 Froggers Truck Rally in Grosses Coques, Nova Scotia.

I got there in time to see most of the Slalom, lots of mud and even a few broken axles!

Passing my lens so far this summer...

This summer has been a busy one so far. Flying by almost in a blur! Fireworks, camp fires, farmers markets, getting out to meet great new artists and producers, photography, writing, wire wrapping, and beautiful beaches all mixed in with amazing times with family & friends.
